What this guidecovers

Shippra supports IMS Global LTI 1.3 Advantage standards, allowing external Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard) to launch Shippra apps seamlessly and pass grades back to central academic records.

Step-by-Step Execution

Implementationinstructions

01.

Register LTI 1.3 Tool Configuration

In Canvas or Moodle Admin Settings, add a new LTI 1.3 Developer Key. Copy the Client ID, Public Keyset URL, and OIDC Authorization Endpoint into Shippra Admin > LTI Settings.

02.

Configure NRPS Roster Provisioning

Enable Names and Role Provisioning Services (NRPS) to automatically sync course student rosters when an instructor launches Shippra LMS or Exams.

03.

Enable Assignment & Grade Services (AGS 2.0)

When students complete assessments in Shippra Exams or LMS, final scores post directly to the Canvas/Moodle gradebook via signed bearer token requests.

Guide Questions

Frequently asked questions

Will browser third-party cookie blocking break LTI launches?

No. Shippra launches do not depend on third-party cookies at all — a short-lived token travels with the launch instead, so modern browser privacy settings never interrupt it.
