Accreditation & ComplianceThe return that is a query, not a season
The evidence an institution must produce — for accreditation, for ranking frameworks, for annual statutory returns — assembled from live records instead of rebuilt by a committee each cycle.
Why
Compliance
The return that is a query, not a seasonAccreditation and statutory returns assembled from the record the institution already keeps.
Recorded, not reconstructed
A criterion is answered with what was written down the day it happened, not remembered later.
Departments asked once
The same figures stop being requested by email from every department each time a return falls due.
The gap shows early
A criterion missing its proof surfaces while the term is still running, not the week before submission.
The cycle carries forward
What this accreditation cycle assembled stays with the institution, so the next one begins where the last ended.
Today
Accreditation stops an institution for months. A committee is formed. Departments are asked for the same numbers three times over. Files are assembled by hand from registers, and the evidence for a criterion is a photocopy of something that was always in the system — just never in a form anybody could ask for.
What we did about it
We mapped the frameworks an institution actually reports against — accreditation criteria, ranking submissions, annual statutory returns, and the credit and award data that now has to leave the institution — onto records the suite already holds, so a return becomes a question asked of the system rather than a season of work.
Inside
Compliance
Every criterionpointed at its own record
Criteria on the record
Framework criteria mapped to where the answer already lives.
Evidence, collected as it happens
Proof attached at the moment of the event, not hunted for later.
Returns, prepared
Annual and statutory submissions assembled from live data.
Credit and award data
Programme, credit and award records prepared in the form national frameworks expect.
The audit trail
Who recorded what, and when — kept for the cycle after this one.
The gaps, early
What a criterion is missing, while there is still time to fix it.
Owners and due dates
Each criterion carries the person answerable for it and the date the answer is due.
Approvals and renewals
Affiliation letters, statutory approvals and their expiry dates, noticed well before one quietly lapses.
What changes
Asked once from the record, not by email
The cycle stops being an emergency. Evidence is produced from what was recorded at the time rather than reconstructed afterwards — which also means it is true. And the committee goes back to its departments.
IQAC & accreditation cells
Criteria answered from live records instead of a rebuilt file.
Registrars
Statutory returns prepared from the register they already keep.
Heads of department
Asked once, from the record — not three times, by email.
A day
with it
From framework to return without the assembling season
Everything is written once, at the desk where it happens, and read everywhere it is needed afterwards.
The framework is mapped
Criteria pointed at the records that answer them.
Evidence accrues
Proof captured at the event, not assembled at the deadline.
The return is drawn
Submissions prepared from live records, with gaps flagged.
The cycle is left behind
Everything kept, so the next cycle starts from the last one.
Controls
Who answers a criterion and who sees the proof
Accreditation asks an institution to open its records to a visiting team; these are the boundaries that hold while it does.
The department’s own criteria
A head of department opens only the criteria they answer for; the accreditation cell sees the return whole.
Every figure carries its author
A figure in a return opens back to the record it came from, the person who entered it and the day.
The count without the names
A criterion that counts grievances or counselling takes the number it needs; the names behind it stay where they were kept.
Signed before it is lodged
The person answerable for a criterion signs its answer, and the sign-off sits on the criterion rather than in an email thread.
The cycle file is yours
The criteria, the attachments and every return as it was lodged are the institution’s, and leave with it whole, whenever you ask.
When the line drops
Proof attached in a hall with no signal — a photograph, a note, a signature — joins its criterion when the line returns.
Works
with
One record,not one more system
Compliance can be adopted on its own. It is worth more beside the rest, because a record entered once is known to all of them — nobody types the same student in twice.

Before the visit what accreditation cells ask
We are already mid-cycle. Where does that leave the years behind us?
Criteria are answered from records as they are kept, so the years the suite has been running answer themselves. For the years before it, your cell attaches what it already holds against the criterion, once. It then stays there for the cycle after this one.
Does it submit the return for us?
No. It assembles the answer to each criterion, keeps the proof behind it, and shows what is still missing. Filling and lodging the submission on the framework's own portal remains your cell's work — you keep doing that part.
Some of our evidence never touches the software. What then?
You attach it against the criterion it answers — a signed agreement, a photograph from a departmental event, a letter. It sits beside the evidence drawn from records, dated and attributed the same way, and it is there again next cycle.
Can a figure be corrected after it has been drawn?
Yes, but it is corrected in the record it came from, not in the return, and the criterion then redraws itself. The change carries who made it and when, and the earlier value is not quietly erased.
